Running of The Bulls 5k
Race The Bronx and Cash Cow NYC present the thrilling "Running of the Bulls 5k" at Van Cortlandt Park on December 10! Lace up your shoes and join us for an invigorating run through the park's scenic trails, experiencing the perfect blend of urban charm and natural beauty. Whether you're a seasoned runner or new to racing, this event promises a memorable day filled with fitness, community, and fun. Course Description: Runners will start on the Parade Ground, a wide field bordering Broadway, and head south. Turn left/east to pass the Van Cortlandt Mansion along the southern edge of the Parade Ground, then left/north again to enter the woods at the Cow Path entrance. Runners will ascend the trail as they continue north. As the trail parallels the Henry Hudson Parkway, make the right turn toward the Back Hills. Make this complete loop, then head back toward the Parade Ground. The trail is mostly downhill and flat. Exit the woods with about three-quarters of a mile to go and continue to the finish along Broadway beyond the Tortoise and Hare statue.
Awards & Prizes
The prize money for top overall (m/f) will be a Cash Cow NYC varsity jacket. The top three in each age-group category (m/f) will receive Lloyd's World Famous Carrot Cake! Age groups will be separated into
19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over.

Race Location: The meet up location for the event will be by the along Broadway by the Tortoise and Hare statue.
Bib & Shirt Pickup: Will be on race day starting at 7:30 am.
